Note that the HTML file that runs in the browser has less intensive effects than the downloadable executable. However, the gameplay is the same.

Controls

In the first part, use the arrow keys to move and z to attack. In the emainder of the game, z advances text boxes, and the mouse is used to answer questions.

Takeaways

This game was my first toe dip into shaders and audio. I also tried to improve my pixel art.
